WOW! And, I'll say it again, WOW! When Jo-Lynne and I went to New York City on a Tuesday to see what Child's Play Communication: Team Mom had prepared for us, who knew what would follow?
Well, Sarah Fraser did, (God bless her and all her efforts), which is why she had us send our address for all the goodies to be mailed to us afterward that were represented at the show. I am usually more punctual in my Thank-You's but I wanted to make sure I thanked EVERYONE for the absolutely delightful and generous items in the box and those at the brunch! So here goes (and I do apologize if I left anyone out!):
Thank YOU:
First to Sarah Fraser and the other Child's Play Communications Team Mom Representatives that made the day so much fun for all of us. The meal at the Williams Club was delightful! Very lovely historic place, nestled right in the middle of a busy street and tall buildings.
Lord and Taylor for the wonderful makeup ladies who gave me a hand treatment and lipstick color consultation, not to mention the bag of Clarin's goodies (Extra-Firming Tightening Lift Botanical Serum, Extra-firming Day Cream, and Hand & Nail Treatment Cream)
JAKKS Pacific for send the awesome Spa Factory for girls. An additional BIG THANKS to Janis Van Tine, Sr. Corporate Manager, for following up on sending out a Girls Gourmet Cupcake Maker for my Jr. Chefs Class starting in a couple of weeks. My daughters are dying to try it out. I'll have to do a test run before the class -- purely for the fun of it!!We'll take pictures to post later.
DK Publishing for a couple of wonderful new books: One Million Things:A Visual Encyclopedia, First Meals Food Diary, Cosmic (a 3-D pop-up book about the universe) and Earth Matters (a family encyclopedia of ecology). All of which will be great in my craft & story hour sessions at the YMCA where I teach Buggy World, A Boy's Life, Pretty Princess, Jr. Chef's and more! They also sent some really cool postcards in the box that look fun. My own daughters will enjoy all of the above too!
Genius Products for Elmo's Christmas Countdown, The Flight Before Christmas, and Unstable Fables. Very cute.
Elmers for the Hannah Montana Art Gear Case, Billy Nye Recycling Factory, Sour Candy Factory. My kids are going to LOVE these. I am saving some for Christmas. Oh, almost forgot to mention the Elmer's Go Paint sets. Those are roadtripping with us to NC for Thanksgiving. We will have 11 hours down and back to test those out. Very handy!
Disney Publishing Worldwide for Kindom Keepers II: Disney at Dawn. (Perfect for my 10 & 11 yr. old daughters - perfect for their age and reading level.)
Fathom Studios for a sneak preview of the trailer of the new movie Delgo coming out Dec. 12 and for the baseball caps at the event that my daughters are using daily now.
Orlando/ Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau Center for the drawing prize of a big trip (which I could tell you more about but I didn't win so I don't remember. Sorry. Best wishes to the blogger who did! Have fun!)
Petite Palate for another fun basket for the drawing. They showed us delicious gourmet, organic baby food that is frozen and easily thawed with the best of ingredients.
Robert from Stained Glass NYC for showing us his beautiful artwork inspired by a need for a mental release after September 11. And, for taking lots of pictures! His creative eye must extend to several specialties. He also gave away one of his lovely boxes in the drawing. I enjoyed hearing how he decided to incorporate the shells into his stained glass work after going to the beach and seeing the wonderful designs.
Speaking of photos, here are some great ones over at Child's Play Communications: Moms Market Trend. I can't think of anything I would change about the day ! Thanks again.
I do hope to do some giveaways with some of the items so I can share the joy around the blogosphere! Stay tuned for more!
