As always, the greatest show on earth did not fail us last night. As a part of the Feld Family Activator program with Mom Central, my girls and I picked up a friend of my youngest daughter and we went the circus.
Of course, we were greeted at the door with handouts about animal cruelty but we didn't let it stop us. Lights, glitz and galore awaited our fun-starved eyes at the newly themed show, Funundrum.
I noticed that this one has a bit more storytelling in it which was nice rather than just watching act after act. They tried to blend the animals into scenes - like doing an Egyptian dance number and bringing in the elephants as a part of it. The big gray beasts still did their number but it seemed to flow better than in the past - not that I would have thought anything of it but I liked this show and how it was performed. The "sideshow" scenes right before the break were the only thing I thought got a little slow. We still enjoyed the night thoroughly - especially the cool motorcycle riders and the colorful jumping guys on trampolines. I also liked the digital screens that added to the color and glitz of the event and changed with each act.
How fun! I wanted to be down there with them - except that some of the stunts were so amazing I just know I would break my neck trying them. They were incredible.
Here's a little summary about the show itself from the website:

It was great seeing you last night. I enjoyed the story telling too although some parts were slower. The motorcycles were a huge hit and I loved the pirate show!!
