I don't any Leapfrog products. I don't know if that was because they were introduced after my children were at the right age or just my impression that I didn't want to replace the opportunity to sit and read with my children, which is how each of my children learned to read. The first taught herself super early and I just needed to guide. The other two read later, but learned quickly with parent-child reading times through-out the day.
