Hey, bloggy friends, I promise that I am not letting all my creative juices atrophy. I have been blogging elsewhere but I will get back home to Genesis Moments one of these days.
At Chic-Critique, you can find my most recent post there about The Challenge of Long Hair and the Goody Ouchless Brush. Awesome and necessary tool! While you are there, check in with some other great reviews and leave a comment or two.
At Story of My Life, I just posted a featured storyteller story about Helen McGrath, the outreach coordinator at Streetside Stories in San Francisco, CA. Again, there are lots of great stories and writers there too so look around. Today sometime I should be putting up another story there about Kelly Patterson, world explorer extraordinaire (and a great writer which totally intimidating me writing HER story)! Here's a teaser intro on her:
Riding in the back of a pickup truck, in an inflatable baby pool, while zooming through an African Game Park, drinking frozen margaritas and smoking a joint, Kelly Patterson laughed in her contagious, blonde-with-tattoos kind of way: “Man, how many American laws have we just broken?"
In keeping with "find me elsewhere but here" week, I will be filling in over at Musings of a Housewife sometime over the weekend. She is going away so I will be guest-posting on Lindsey's science experiment and her father or my dear husband's poo-poohing my idea of testing the conductivity of chocolate. I'll let you know which day I am posting over there when I know!
I love you all for stopping by. Tell me what you are posting on so I can come read it.
Oh, and one of these days, I really must blog on hearing Sue Jakes, from CEP in Atlanta. I went to see her talk to a group of pastors' wives about raising kids in today's world. I am not a pastors' wife but I agreed to help organize and MC the event which is how I snuck in. She was incredible, inspiring and such a light to the world. Her talk focused on raising covenant children and when I get a chance I really will write about it. Now to go write my Musings post.

Ooohh! The conductivity of chocolate! I'll have to remember that one:)
I was just reading about your science project ideas on your guest post. I love science projects! Can't wait to do them with my child. I wanted to clarify if you mean "tensile strength" when you write "tinsel strength"?
Best of luck to you and your daughter.
